Why was the Library of Alexandria destroyed?
The Library of Alexandria was destroyed through a series of events over several centuries. One of the main reasons for its destruction was the series of invasions and conquests of the city by various groups, including the Romans, Christians, and Muslims. These invasions led to the library being damaged and eventually destroyed, either intentionally or as collateral damage. Additionally, there are theories that suggest the library may have suffered from neglect and lack of funding, leading to its decline and eventual destruction. **

Moscatel de Alexandria 'Secano Interior Yumbel' Pu Wines 2022The Moscatel de Alexandria 'Secano Interior Yumbel' from the young artisanal winery Pu Wines is a macerated white wine from Chile with a smooth and genuine soul, produced in the Bio Bio wine region. The Bio Bio Valley is one of the country's southernmost wine-growing areas, characterised by a cold climate responsible for a longer growing season for vines, a particularly favourable condition for white grape varieties such as Moscatel de Alexandria. This grape variety, which is none other than the Zibibbo cultivated on the island of Pantelleria, was until the 20th century the most widespread grape in the region along with Pais, but over the following decades gave way to the more popular international varieties Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Secano Interior Yumbel' Pu Wines Moscatel de Alexandria is a pure expression of the aromatic Muscat of Alexandria variety from vines grown according to biodynamic farming principles. The vines grow on volcanic soil and are cultivated without the use of any irrigation system. Harvesting is carried out by hand and the grapes are then destemmed and gently crushed, before being soaked in old traditional terracotta amphorae, known as 'tinajas', where spontaneous alcoholic fermentation is accompanied by about 6 months of maceration on the skins. At the end of this period, the wine is then drawn off and matured for 2 months in used oak barrels. The wine is finally bottled without clarification, filtration or addition of sulphites. The 'Secano Interior Yumbel' Moscatel de Alexandria from Pu Wines is bright amber in colour with golden highlights. The nose expresses pleasant aromatic notes of apricot, orange blossom, candied citrus peel and dried sage, accompanied by hints of iodine. Taste pleasantly fat and free-range, endowed with intense freshness and tanginess, as well as a lingering mineral finish.19,00 £*Shipping: 48,00 £Secure redirect to the provider

Why were there so many cities named Alexandria in ancient times?
Many cities were named Alexandria in ancient times as a way to honor Alexander the Great, who founded the original city of Alexandria in Egypt. As Alexander's empire expanded, his successors established new cities and named them after him to showcase their loyalty and admiration for him. Why do Republicans in the USA claim that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat, is antisemitic?
Republicans in the USA claim that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is antisemitic because of her criticism of the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians and her support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. They argue that her stance on these issues is anti-Israel and therefore antisemitic. However, Ocasio-Cortez has clarified that her criticism is directed at the policies of the Israeli government and not at the Jewish people as a whole. This controversy reflects the ongoing debate over the boundaries between criticism of Israel and antisemitism in American politics. **

How loud is it at a heavy metal concert, for example at Asking Alexandria, BMTH, etc.?
At a heavy metal concert featuring bands like Asking Alexandria or Bring Me The Horizon, the volume can be extremely loud. The music is typically played at high decibel levels, often reaching over 100 decibels, which is equivalent to the sound of a chainsaw. The combination of amplified instruments, powerful speakers, and enthusiastic crowds can create a deafening environment. It is recommended to wear ear protection to prevent hearing damage in such loud settings. **
'Participate or empower?'
Participate and empower are both important concepts in creating positive change. Participating involves actively engaging in activities, discussions, and decision-making processes. Empowering, on the other hand, involves giving individuals the tools, resources, and support they need to take control of their own lives and make their own decisions. Both are important in creating inclusive and sustainable change, as participation allows for diverse perspectives and voices to be heard, while empowerment enables individuals to take ownership of their own lives and communities. Ultimately, a combination of both participation and empowerment is necessary for creating meaningful and lasting change. **
Does serenity also include indifference?
Serenity and indifference are not the same thing. Serenity is a state of calmness and peace of mind, often achieved through acceptance and mindfulness. Indifference, on the other hand, implies a lack of concern or interest in something. While serenity can involve letting go of things beyond our control, it is not about being apathetic or detached. True serenity involves a sense of inner peace and contentment, while indifference may lead to a disconnect from emotions and relationships. **
